Pyongyang: It was another Ri Kwang-song late show at the Kim Il-sung Stadium as the DPR Korea midfielder scored in stoppage-time as the defending champions defeated China to end their 2012 AFC U-16 Championship qualifying campaign with a 100% record.
Ri, who came off the bench to score an 89th minute winner against Singapore, scored the only goal two minutes into second-half stoppage time as the North Koreans advanced to next year's finals with a perfect record.
China, who finished runners-up behind the Group B hosts following victories over Malaysia, Singapore and Timore Leste, are also through to the tournament proper.
